Women on the border: the case of the Bolivians in Brazil

This work has as objective main the study of the migratory flow of Bolivians for Brazil, specifically for the region of border and the city of Corumbá - MS. The analysis is given from the perspective of gender, taking as a starting point for migrant women, the family reconfigurations, social networks and processes of feminization / female empowerment. In this study were captured many changes in the configuration of immigrant families, especially in changing the roles played by women in households and families in places of origin and destination.
