Levels and trends of international migration in North Africa

The primary objective of the present study is to examine the levels and trends of population migration in the countries of North Africa using available statistics as a guide, and focusing primarily on changes that have occurred since 1970. The study will discusses some specific issues related to the pattern of migration from the region such as: - The increasing feminization of labor migrations, - Illegal migrations and trafficking in the region, - Some economic aspects of migration in the region such as remittance, Brain Drain and labor market. The study will ends with some recommended policies and reviews of good practices in the region.
